Radiographs (or x-rays) are an important diagnostic tool because they allow our doctors to see inside the body in a non-invasive way and evaluate bone or joint structure that can't be assessed through physical exam.

Radiographs are an essential diagnostic tool because they:

Allow our doctors to view internal structures non-invasively
Help diagnose bone and joint conditions (fractures, arthritis, abnormalities)
Evaluate the chest for heart and lung disease (pneumonia, heart enlargement, fluid)
Assess abnormal organs for issues like blockages, stones, or masses
Aid in emergency diagnosis of internal injury or foreign objects
Monitor disease progression and response to treatments

As part of our comitment to providing our patients with the best care, all radiographs are submitted to a board-certified radiologist for interpretation to help ensure nothing is overlooked.
