Pet Digital Radiology
Digital x-rays assist in diagnosing illness & injury.
Radiographs (or x-rays) are an important diagnostic tool because they allow our doctors to see inside the body in a non-invasive way and evaluate bone or joint structure that can't be assessed through physical exam.
Radiographs are an essential diagnostic tool because they:
- Allow our doctors to view internal structures non-invasively
- Help diagnose bone and joint conditions (fractures, arthritis, abnormalities)
- Evaluate the chest for heart and lung disease (pneumonia, heart enlargement, fluid)
- Assess abnormal organs for issues like blockages, stones, or masses
- Aid in emergency diagnosis of internal injury or foreign objects
- Monitor disease progression and response to treatments
As part of our comitment to providing our patients with the best care, all radiographs are submitted to a board-certified radiologist for interpretation to help ensure nothing is overlooked.
