Pet Adoptions

Northwood Oaks Veterinary Hospital is involved in the rescue of animals that need homes. We offer free initial examinations and fecal tests to all pets adopted from local rescue groups.


Local Rescue Groups we offer free initial examinations to include: Alachua County Animal Control, Alachua County Humane Society, Gainesville Pet Rescue, Puppy Hill Farm, Phoenix Animal Rescue, and Helping Hands Rescue.
